About Jack McGrath

Born and educated in Boston, Jack McGrath brings a tremendous amount of building and design knowledge to the Central Florida area as a result of a driving desire to make the dreams of others a reality.
Before his relocation to Florida in 1979, he gained valuable building knowledge while in New England through renovation experiences, for these projects far outnumbered new construction within this region. Seeking the ability to continue remodeling and remain self-employed, Jack moved to Central Florida in an effort to escape the cold and remain working outdoors.

In 1984, after working for two Florida based construction companies, Jack again went into business on his own. After several years of promising successes, he married Marion in 1992, and she joined the company three years later, adding a well-rounded financial and marketing background.
Over the years, Jack has seen JMC grow to become an industry leader within Central Florida and has been recognized as one of the nation’s "Big 50" remodeling companies. As the recipient of numerous local and national awards, Jack has lead the JMC team to numerous local and national honors, including the 2006 Parade of Homes - Grand Award, several first place MAME awards, the Remodelers Choice Award and most recently a National Chrysalis Award.
While very active within the building community through the Home Builders Association, Remodelers Council and the Remodelers 20 Group, Jack still finds time to enjoy his own interests and hobbies. He is an FAA certified instrument rated pilot building his very own airplane and is an avid boater who can often times be found satisfying his love of both land and sea while spending time together with his wife and two sons.
